To Room and Board in a home-stay you will immerse yourself in the convivial atmosphere of Guatemalan Families. It gives you the chance to really get the most from your classes. Our families have been selected carefully to make you feel safe and comfortable. With a home-stay, you will both save money and learn Spanish faster as you share your meals and your living space. Different situations are available in homes ranging from modest to upper-class. Guate Linda can place you where you are comfortable for $80-100 per week.

We offer special rates on private or semi-private rooms in any of several local hotels. Guate Linda operates its own hotel on the premises of our school (Posada Guatelinda), or we can help you find a room nearby in a wide range of prices. Most hotels and rooms do not provide meals but hundreds of economically priced restaurants in Antigua will be glad to do so.

For those looking for a more independent stay, furnished apartments start around $260 a month in Antigua with modest to luxurious accommodations available to fit almost any budget. Guate Linda will be glad to help you find a place to stay, whatever you have in mind.

We also have an agreement with a beautiful guest house located less than two minutes walk from Guate Linda.  It has two floors, a guest kitchen and living room, rooms with a television, private bathroom, and fan, and a spacious terrace on the second level with tropical plants, tables, and a swinging bench facing one of the largest mountains in Guatemala, Volcán de Agua.  There is no curfew; we only ask that you try to be as quiet as possible when entering at night so as not to disturb the other guests.  The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh linens and towels are provided.  A single room costs US $20 a night, doubles are $25, and triples are $30.  Each room includes a matrimonial bed.  For groups of 10 people or more, the leader of the group receives their stay free of charge.  Rooms are reserved in advance, and it´s recommended reserving early as rooms go quickly.
